Ballum Slusekro was built during 1914 - 1915 alongside the construction of the Ballum-Astrup dyke. It is situated directly in the middle of the beautiful salt meadows of southern Jutland. The property, which at the beginning was both an inn and the sluice master's residence, was up until 1993 not serving alcohol to the visiting guests. It quickly became a tradition, that the inn should be hosting the meetings of the dyke-team, and it still is today. Remaining faithful to the existence of the inn, we are happy to welcome guests for both accommodation and a traditional Danish meal. Bon appetite.
